Gateway Community Health Center, in collaboration with the prestigious University of Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine, proudly announces the launch of our pioneering Graduate Medical Education programs in the vibrant border town of Laredo, TX. Initiated in 2017, this partnership marks a milestone in enhancing medical training and healthcare provision in the region. In 2018, we celebrated the arrival of our first class of dedicated residents into the Family Medicine Residency Program. As a community-based initiative, we are rapidly gaining recognition for delivering comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to a diverse and underserved population. Our program focuses on nurturing resident physicians in offering holistic care across all stages of life, encompassing pediatrics, maternity & women’s health, and geriatrics. We are committed to shaping the future of healthcare by empowering medical residents with the skills and experience to excel in a dynamic medical landscape.
