Medicaid Eligibility

Through our partnership with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Gateway Community Health Center offers assistance to center patients to apply for Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-food benefits) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits. Out-stationed Eligibility Workers (OEW) are available at our Laredo Central and South Clinics. Upon registering, our staff will screen patients to determine their eligibility for such programs and will refer to the OEW as appropriate.
