Early Detection Saves Lives

If you are a woman age 65 or older, you may still qualify for no-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings through Gateway Community Health Center’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Services Program.

Many women believe that turning 65 automatically ends their eligibility for state-funded screening programs. That is not always true. If you do not have insurance, cannot access Medicare Part B, or cannot afford the Medicare Part B premium, Gateway Community Health Center may be able to help.

You May Qualify for No-Cost Screenings If You Are 65 or Older and:

You may be eligible for services through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Services Program if:

You are physically present in Texas and intend to remain in the state permanently or for an indefinite period. There is no minimum length of stay required to establish Texas residency for this program.
